The Miss Vietnam Jewelry Competition sponsored by the Jewelry & Art Craft Fashion Magazine, the Vietnam Gemstone Association and the Jewelry and Arts Association, is about to take place in Hanoi at the National Convention Center.
All participants are single Vietnamese women ages 18 to 27, living locally and abroad. Ladies must be at least 5.5 inches tall to enter the competition and have at least a high school education. The winner will receive the title of Miss Vietnam Jewelry 2007.
All applications must be submitted by May 19, 2007. The contestants must provide photographs of themselves wearing jewelry crafted in gold or silver with gemstones. Only 30 participants will advance to the final stage of the competition which will take place later this year in Hanoi. The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 and a trip abroad. The first and second runner-ups will also receive lesser cash prizes and a trip abroad.
The special “Golden Hand” title will be awarded to the best jewelry designer. The second and third place winners will be awarded the “Silver Hand” and “Bronze Hand” titles. The winning jewelry designs will be auctioned off to raise funds for various charities.
